ORM Query Check - notice ========================== ORM Query Check (https://orm-query-check.skillsafe.ai/) is a derived work of the agent skill @prisma/prisma-client-api, published in prisma/skills: https://github.com/prisma/skills (prisma-client-api/SKILL.md and references/*.md; the skill folder was last changed in commit 808913c1dac11dc425631c2454f7fcb2d5ade5ca, 2026-08-04; repository head 1123817e60d15ca0f3af91878923241dee7e3b09, 2026-09-08; skill metadata version 7.9.1) Copyright (c) 2025 Prisma, MIT License - full text in LICENSE-prisma-skills.txt. What is derived from the skill: the Prisma Client API the checker and the model follow - the model query methods and their return shapes, the query options (select, include, omit, where, orderBy, take, skip, cursor, distinct), the filter and relation-filter operators, nested writes and atomic number updates, array and interactive transactions, raw query safety ($queryRaw vs $queryRawUnsafe, Prisma.raw), client construction with a driver adapter, $extends, and typing query fragments with satisfies. The page's schema parser, call parser, checker, reconciliation and UI are new code written for this app. Corrections and additions from Prisma's documentation, checked on 2026-09-28: - Case sensitivity: mode: 'insensitive' exists only on PostgreSQL and MongoDB connectors (the page also allows CockroachDB); MySQL and SQL Server are case-insensitive by default collation and have no mode option; SQLite does not support it. https://www.prisma.io/docs/v6/orm/prisma-client/queries/case-sensitivity - Prisma Client API reference: createManyAndReturn / updateManyAndReturn on PostgreSQL, CockroachDB and SQLite only; skipDuplicates not on MongoDB, SQL Server or SQLite; select cannot be combined with include on the same level, nor with omit. https://www.prisma.io/docs/orm/reference/prisma-client-reference - Json filters: PostgreSQL takes an array path, MySQL a string path; other databases do not support path filters. https://www.prisma.io/docs/orm/prisma-client/special-fields-and-types/working-with-json-fields - Scalar list filters (has, hasSome, hasEvery, isEmpty): PostgreSQL, CockroachDB and MongoDB. https://www.prisma.io/docs/orm/v7/prisma-client/special-fields-and-types/working-with-scalar-lists-arrays - groupBy with skip or take must also have orderBy. https://www.prisma.io/docs/orm/v7/prisma-client/queries/aggregation-grouping-summarizing - Interactive transactions: maxWait defaults to 2000 ms and timeout to 5000 ms; only calls on the transaction client are part of the transaction. https://www.prisma.io/docs/orm/v7/prisma-client/queries/transactions - isSet is a MongoDB filter for optional fields (Prisma 3.11.1 release notes). https://github.com/prisma/prisma/releases/tag/3.11.1 - The skill's filters reference lists isSet among general null checks without saying it is MongoDB-only; the page follows the release notes. Version scope, checked against the npm registry on 2026-09-28: the latest stable Prisma ORM is 7.10.0 (2026-08-25; latest 6.x is 6.19.3). The npm "latest" tag points at 8.0.0-rc.17, a release candidate of Prisma ORM 8, which replaces this query syntax (db.orm.., no $transaction). Prisma ORM 8 calls are out of scope for this app and are not checked. Independent tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Prisma Data, Inc.
